Concrete colouring from the big green shed and have used grout colouring as well.

Thanks Watty, recently built a cement slab, going to try and colour with diluted paint, so more of a wash effect. Will see how that goes.
Do you seal the insides at all? Was thinking of using something like resin used for fibreglass.

Hi Craig thanks for the interest, I do seal both inside and out but only with the standard waterproofing pot sealer that is purchased from the big retailers.
Have been doing this for about a year now with no ill effects to trees.
I would be interested to see what a paint wash does thru cement, have not heard of this before, any more enlightenment on this?

Thanks Watty, will have a look at the sealer. The slab is still drying, will be a couple weeks before I attempt to colour. Have personally never tried so will require experimentation, will update once I do.
