The School Of Bonsai 2017 T2 Display night
Tonight is the night.
As usual, if anyone is at a loose end, then come along and see the trees on display, visitors welcome to view but only display for the Advanced class members
Displays are usually set up by about 7:30

A few of the general activity shots of work around the room.
Our usual judges (John and Vince) were not available tonight so Clinton Nesci substituted for them tonight.
It was nice to get a different viewpoint on the trees and displays so thank you to Clinton.

I was fortunate enough to be visiting the class last night. Some magnificent trees on display!
It's hard to single out any individual trees, but the range of trees, styles and creativity was inspirational. And some people have mysteriously avoided winter based on the amount of leaves and flowers some trees have!
Oh, the New Zealand Christmas tree is commonly called a pohutukawa (roughly pronounced: po-hoot-a-kawa). Such an iconic tree in many coastal areas!
