The Gift
Last year I received a surprise package in the post .
My first Trevor Wheeler pot .It was a gift from Bhodiharma . A while ago I had sent him a PK pot when he had mentioned quite shockingly that he didn’t have one . Well that gift was returned in spades . It came out of the blue at a time when I was under a lot of pressure and it made me remember the more important things about life .
When I thanked him privately he described the pot as unusual , well I had an unusual tree that I think suits this pot perfectly . The tree is one of those elm root sucker things which was another gift from another member here ,Graham who goes by the name Regwac .
Thank you guys . Some details

Re: The Gift
Hi Sno and others that read this. Really nice combo Sno and once it settles in will be superb. Don't know if you know but we sold up "Bodhidharma" last year lock stock and barrel and moved to Maleny in QLD. It was time and the Nursery went to a good home. Retirement is wonderful and i kept a dozen trees (not great one's) . A new chapter in my life is unfolding and i love the direction it is taking. Miss all here and will contribute a bit later down the track. love to all

Re: The Gift
I think you've nailed the combo Sno, congrats!
Bodhi, you're going to be kept busy with the growth of trees in Maleny! Nice spot, and glad to know you're enjoying your retirement.

A few photos before A hair cut prior to a repot . My partner says it’s like 2020 , all over the place .

Re: The Gift
Yeah wow! Very interesting - and engaging tree in that the more I look the more I want to look. Very cool - the whole pot and tree story.
Tending bonsai teaches me patience.
