Niwaki are the garden or park pines that are pruned to shape. Like giant bonsai but growing in the ground.

I know there is at least 1 place developing trees because I have pruned one in a garden at Beechworth however I did not ask where it came from.
A quick search yielded https://theplanthunter.com.au/people/pr ... ure-trees/
I have no idea what the prices or quality is like so that is just a link, not a recommendation.

Marcela from Vic native bonsai club recently posted a note to members of an Adelaide person who does wisteria and niwaki maintenance and is looking for a Melbourne based assistant. I figure if the do maintenance they may also know suppliers but I did not keep the email or the name.
Gardening Australia did a feature on the same people? doing wisteria maintenance a year or so back with Sophie.
Sophie Thomson has enlisted the help of Master Japanese Gardeners Fumio and Shinya Ueda to help her train her wisteria.
They may be able to help?
