I'm in Adelaide and crepes are one of the last to flower each year for me. I find it to be at least early Feb before I get flowers, last year it was very late Feb. It's always worth the wait tho 😌

Ok good. I actually thought they were earlier so was worried they weren’t going to. I don’t really care except that I am trying to find out what colour one in particular is so I can choose a pot.

Some Crepe myrtles flower early, others not until late in summer. It depends on the species. I only have one (in Ballarat) and it is only just getting going with the new season growth.

The trees in the ground have been flowering for 5 or 6 weeks here in SE Qld. The ones in pots a bit slower, some started about 2 weeks ago, others are only now coming into bud, some have no buds at all.

My pink one is starting to show the terminal growth pattern now, hopefully the other one will too.
