A mate of mine purchased a bonsai recently in this pot but we can't work out who the potter is.
Does anyone know here? Cheers

Re: Anyone know who's chop this is
I can't be of any help however I recently potted a tree into a pot that had similar markings.
I do vaguely remember buying this pot about 25 years ago but the memory is a bit foggy.
I have attached a copy of the chop which is similar (both SJW) and it was an Australian potter.

The memory comes back!
I think these pots were made for Shirly and John White and made by Bruce Findley who had a shop in Bungendore.
More memory may come back but that is a good start.

Thanks Watto. Appreciate it. That's a good start. He made some nice pots by the looks of it. Wonder what happened to the potter.

The memory strikes again - the "company" name was Clay Express

Re: Anyone know who's chop this is
I remember seeing the name "Clay Express" previously. Posted below is a link to where I'd seen it, it has their historical contact details.
Not sure if it will help, but here it is:

Good luck,
Kevin
Just a quick edit: Phone numbers did change since that stamp was made. For Sydney numbers they added a 9 before their existing number. Therefore dialing from Canberra add 029 before the stamped number. I'm only assuming it's a Sydney number, but it does look like one.
