Little time wasting and learning at the same time is good. Not too much though.

It doesn't help that this forum is about a billion times more interesting than my Cybersociety subject, wherein I'm forced to discuss whether cars have desires of if bridges can be racist. This thread has been competitively linear to that subject, wherein any objections to proposed theories are dismissed by the lecturer and considered "nuts". I'd much rather read through the threads!


Having said that, this thread probably has been circular, yet at the same time illuminating. I think we can all take something out of it, whether we agree or don't. I, personally, love the difference in opinion and think it can only enhance the learning process. There's never going to be a conclusion or a finite answer, in this topic or anything in bonsai (except maybe that bonsais need water?). I don't know if people are arguing for one side or the other? Again I probably show my naivety, but I don't sense any malice. But if people are feeling that way, perhaps it is more prudent to say to each his own and leave the topic at that?
