Getting Permission
G'day All,
I was looking at topics, on some of them there is this message You do not have the required permissions to view the files attached to this post. Why is that? and how does one get permission ?
Cheers Perry

Re: Getting Permission
Perry,
I get the same message when people put their pictures in their gallery and have a link attached. I get a big red circle with a bar across with the same message. Only get it on my desktop computer, not on my notebook. Must be a software thing. What operating system are you using? The desktop that has the same problem runs Vista, but the netbook runs Windows 7. Maybe the problem lies there?

Re: Getting Permission
Nobody RUNS macintosh, they just allow it to infest their computer, and it does whatever the hell it pleases! It just PRETENDS to behave itself until the most inconvenient of times (like the weekend before school reports) and then crashes the whole system, wipes the hard drive and thinks its funny! This happened to a friend yesterday, and reports are due next week Just can't really trust a Mac.......Fish wrote:Nah Glenda, problem is you are running windows, not macintosh...lol....

Re: Getting Permission
It is spelled touché (but pronouced the way you spelled it). Actually means 'touch', and is a fencing (as in sport, not boundary) term. Weird how french words get into the English language, hey? By the way, I don't teach language, just Maths and Science, but I do speak un petit peu de français (a little bit of french).Fish wrote:LOL, TOO SHAY (how ever you spell it) good to see humour about

Re: Getting Permission
Perry, when you log on, just below where you sign in, there something that says 'Keep me logged in (etc)' click on that. Then, when you leave the site, don't log off, just click the close tab button at the top (the X). Next time you open Ausbonsai, you should automatically be logged in.
Hope that makes sense.

Re: Getting Permission
Hey Glenda,
How did you get the french 'c' character? And the accents over the 'e'. I've never been able to figure that one out.
