G,day guys and gals, Dan Barton has a new web site, and has asked me to let you guys know about it. It is to promote tree's by other than the big guys. Tree's of specimen quality.
This a a very good opportunity for us to show what we have in Australia, like the trees in our National Collection and the many more quality trees in Australia.
Hi Guys.... thanks for your kind comments... sorry about the 'Ashes" but it was about time we won something!!!
As you can see, I've registered onto the 'ausbonsai' site and hope it won't be too long before we have lots of Australian bonsai specimens (created from humble beginnings) on the new site I'm hosting: http://ourbonsai.wordpress.com
cheers, Dan

Great idea for a site! Most of my so-called "Bonsai" are either propagated by myself or started from raw nursery stock. I hope to add some of my Eucs to your Evergreen section within the next couple of years.
Thanks!
FlyBri.
[EDIT] Dan: I imagine that your site might rouse the ire of those who believe that quality Bonsai cannot (should not ) be grown from young stock. The "Yamadori Vs Seedling" debate has raged for years, at least in my experience with online Bonsai Forums. I think your site proves that not all great Bonsai are collected from the wild. Thanks again! [EDIT]

Thanks for the interest shown, but what about some of the Australian trees that we have. Grant, Leigh, what about some from the collection.
I have not posted yet as I thought some one else might do it for us.
It appears that some one else did not, so I will have to start looking again at mine.
Cheers Pup
