Here are some more pictures from the convention Mr Lo in action with his entertainment on Saturday with some thing very different.
He had comments that it looked like a Swan, and he would not live down the posture he held when trying to explain his Vision.
Also some of the Bonseki which was amazing to watch, as they created these scenes using Sand and rocks, you were asked not to sneeze though. Enjoy

This was Sunday with Mr Lo doing some critiques. The first is a Saikei which is over 1 metre long, using Mallee root instead of rocks he was very impressed with this setting, however more definition of the movement in the boulders.

It was a pleasure to showcase these trees to both delegates and public of Perth. Just seeing the exhibition before the opening ( Wow ) was great for us and now the comments makes it all worthwhile. Trees were selected to provide variety in species and styles :tu: Then to be given International Standard recognition was fabuluous as that was what we aimed for. Pity many people missed out as they think Perth is too far to visit.

Dianne, the most important is your leadership which made this event possible. Of course many others played their parts to varying degrees. It was great to see so many willingly stepped forward to take on the many responsibilities. Congratulations to all for making this event such a success.
Cheers.

Another very important part was the selection of trees the guys that were given this onerous task did a very fine job. When you consider the trees were from just 12 members.

So to those two guys you did a wonderful job under very trying circumstances.

I tips me at to ya, thanks again

Pup, thanks for spending the time, effort preparing and sending your wonderful trees for the exhibition. John Di and myself started off on the premise that we will like to have as many members' trees as possible. We believe that the more members show their trees, the better it is for the all. Inclusiveness is good for the society. Just in case we cannot get our targetted number of trees, we have prepared our own trees. Fortunately we were able to get more than enough trees. So I ended up sending in only half of the trees I prepared. Same with John. I am glad that the attention to details have paid off. We aimed for a wide variety of trees of different styles. Arranging the trees to harmonise the display for the visitors viewing pleasures.

Hi,

I got a lot of pics from this weekend. I am making a webpage of all of them. I could post a link here, or alternately, you could PM me if you want the link - either way - let me know what is best.
Cheers,
Leigh.

Post the link here, that way you'll only have to send it once for everyone.
