Autumn Colour

After 4 mild autumn/winter years we finally have been having cold nights done on the south coast at the right time of year to achieve some interesting colours. I thought I should finally show some nice maple/liquid amber/pear colours. Although I don't like the cold to much I do enjoy the natural colour displays.

Cheers Mase

Hello all,
Just posted a few pictures of the nursery , with all of the fantastic early spring movement in bud/leaf development.

P1040070.JPG
The wisteria in flower, was only dug out of the ground from the neighboring property 18 months ago. It was growing up an iron bark tree with climbers about 10 metres tall.
Having some fun at the moment with little corokia cotoneaters tubes 3 years ago, 4 inch 2 years ago and how potting into 6 inch ceramic pots with 2 years styling. Looking forward to some November flowers. Just a big thankyou to the Ulladulla Garden club for your visit last week, I hope you all enjoyed the gardens and the bonsai.

Thanks Mase

G'day mase - looks like you have cleaned out keh's place, and probably dean's too - nothing left for the rest of us to sell at xmas! You should do well at the shops this year, you look well prepared.

Hey Pat

I am guessing around 12-15 years old, it was in a massive tub for 5 years so it fattened up quickly, I always worry about the acacia's life span as wattles are not known for their longevity.

Hey Mase,
Looks like you have got a bit more stock in from when I was there last. Good to see your not closing up shop. I will hopefully be able to get down again to see you and purchase that large corky bark I had eyed off so many months ago..

Take it easy

Archie

Hi all
I had a couple of enquiries re: accacia howitti I have take a couple of quick snaps with the last remainig large stock tree I have.To check the flowering etc have a look at the first photo in Bonsai at the Bay when I first posted, (yellow blossoms). I have put a RID can to help with size balance just like aerogard.

Thanks Mase

Thanks for posting the pics. It's really nice. The asking price is fair too. Unfortunately it is very similar to the one I have. I will leave it to another lucky buyer of yours. Cheers

Now I have a reason to travel to Sanctuary Point more often to visit my parents. I look forward to visiting the nursery over the Easter Holidays. Can you post your address and opening times.
Regards
Michael
