There are already roots coming through the drainage holes on the cutting I repotted 7 days ago! These guys are ridiculous!

I guess letting the roots grow helps thicken the flaps, which then helps give the big, powerful base look?

Nothing in particular, I guess it's just the setup it's in that gives it bright light, high temps, and lots of humidity.

OK All,

I have a question. When I tried the flaring trunk method I found that after allowing time for rooting (with hormone applied equally everywhere) when I dug it out again I noticed that the roots only grew from one side of each flared section. On each of the four sections I had cut, the roots are growing from the same edge with no roots on the other side. Strange? Anyone else noticed this or is it just me? :lost:

Two months have passed since I repotted the cuttings. Anyone know what the general window is before I pull them up and look at them again?
