You have had some good advice there Sid. The tree is to young for the plans you have for it. I would grow it out for a few years first and then contemplate its future.

Maybe you should try using some solid ferts as well as the seasol. I would suggest nutrog seamungus or sudden impact available at the big B. Put several tablespoons around the edge of the pot and leave it there for 2-3 weeks then scrape it off and reapply . I use heaps of seasol as well but as a supplement to the solids.

Thanks Craig, Im off to the big B tomorrow to purchase your suggestions :tu2: Ill just wire out all of the branches and feed, feed, feed! Can I use the solid ferts on all my other trees? Pines, Maples etc?

Thank-you Shibui, will do.

Thanks Bodhi, its something Im still learning, the information out there, most times is not as specific as it needs to be, lots of information on all topics, which is quite broad in its delivery. That is why this forum is such a wealth of usable information, mainly because the information comes from the people who have tried and tested the ideas, and the theories. Many thanks for your advice.

Thanks again to Craigw for his advice on feeding this tree, I bought some Seamungus yesterday and applied it to all of my trees. I was looking for a smaller container of the stuff but could only see the 13kg one which I bought anyway :tu:
I shouldnt be needing any for some time now   My girlfriend thinks Im insane, but Im sure this is a common occurance amongst all of us!
