Thanks all for the posts, my nursery is 2.5 hous south of sydney right on the shores of jervis bay/huskisson. The nursery has been open for 4 years. I teach as well (high school) so after 4pm and weekends is main operating times. There is always someone at the nursery. but these times are the best to bump into me.(after school /weekends) It is a lovely area Jervis Bay for the unexplored to the south.

Here is a couple more monster roughish elms from last season. A bit of gye wiring and a good haircut sets them up nicely.
Ps I guess the acacia is for sale but I am unsure of how to price it. I will let you know as I know there are some very savvy bonsai people around and I have not seen a wattle like this before at least not between qld and victoria.

Gidday all just a few pictures of some of the latest styled bonsai we have done at Bonsai at the Bay, some of the trees are up to their 3rd and 4th serious styling. Hoping for a bit of feedback and advice on where to go next with them

. I hope you enjoy. The last Squamata is needing another serious growing season to finalise branching I think. Take care Mase.

Hey Mason, are they some of the new pictures they look great.
I really like the elm. At first I thought that bark must be sieju but the leaf makes me think it is a corky bark. At first glance I thought it might be the sieju elm that I want. Make sure you send me a pic of that one before any of these guys get dibs on it.
I am very conifer stupid so far but I believe there is some intresting material there. I get the feeling the pads are somewhat dense though?

You are right Brett the elm was a corky bark obviousally the leaves are quite different and the bark is more corky so to speak. That particular elm is huge about 30-40kg in plastic growing bag.
The pads on the junipers can become quite dense and at times even for a short time I like this very full look as it shows very even sunlight distribution along the branches, pinching can obviousally thin the pads out.
Take care all

Here are a couple of new pictures of some seiju and corky bark and chinese elms that I have for sale at the nursery, all are in 12 inch-20inch growing bags or pots, some of the detail of the bark is very cool. All have been semi styled, but generally very high quality stock. I thought I better take some pictues before the cold weather takes the green colour out of the leaves and replaces it with the elm yellowy brown colour.

Thanks Marleeny

Open on weekends you bet, 8am-5pm, it is best to give a call just in case I have gone for a early morning or early afternoon swim/surf. There is always someone at the nursery but if you would like to chat to me give a call just in case. I teach during the school term (high school) the nursery is open but you can catch me after 4pmish. The fact that it is school holidays at the moment I am around a lot. This weekend good especially Saturday. 0244418005 0415609509
