I also have 5 Seargeants Jjuniper that I twisted up into knots a few years ago and have all been growing together in a poly box.

I might repot them all this winter and have a look to see if they are useable

Yeah they have just been growing madly and have not done any trimming, or other wiring on these as I just wanted to get them growing hard.
Will pot up them individually this year and see if they are ready to work on further

The smallest "Bonsai" that I have ever seen was at a show about fourty years ago where a dentist had a tiny juniper, struck cutting, growing in a hollowed out MOLAR. Yes you read correctly, a tooth. The legs of the pot were the roots of the tooth and there was a bit of deep canal surgery there for drainage. It was kept under a glass dome to stop it drying out. I'll have a look at some of my old 'OLD' literature and see if I have a pic. Not going to that dentist. Just in case he needs a new pot!!!

Yes Ken ,probably mate,

the Oak is about 7 years grown from seed, i too like it ,,

I found it! The man could be Jim Scott, not sure. Hope you can view it ok as the paper used then, 1970, was made of papyrus parchment I think. See above for post on the Bonsai in a tooth. The sign says "Stand in wonder but don't touch"

Matt's pots are great, i have some smaller than a 50c piece just need to find something small enough to put in them
