Thanks it is great to know that no species are excluded. I was actually thinking of a Lilly Pilly (Syzygium) which I think could be classed as tropical, but down in Australia we have a few other evergreens that may not fit as tropical, deciduous or conifer.
Melaleuca and Callistemon being a couple. Lets hope you get a few Aussie natives entered and we will enjoy watching where you class them :P

The Stormers is leading the Super Rugby here in the southern hemisphere at the moment and it seems that South Africa is going to kick your .... with this progressive bonsai styling contest also :tounge:

South Africa's first entry is in :worship: .
