nice work olive.

for me its very much achieving the impression of size. I imagined a much larger tree until seeing you next to it.

look forward to its development.

Cheers,

Ces.

That is some amazing development in one year! :o

Looking really good, and once it settles into life in a pot with a touch more refinement, that will be a show stopper. This thread more than any other makes me want an olive!

Dont you think You need to thicken that right branch and that is done better in the ground?
I love your olive.
What are your plans of styling for it?

Coming on very nicely mate. Good work :tu:

Carving will make a very nice development for this tree. You have some really nice flow lines in the dead wood that should be your guide mate. They will give the tree more movement and complete your design if you highlight them. Don't think you will need the left branch quite so long after the carving is done.

Looking forward to watching this tree.

Tony

It could of gone another season but im thinking of putting it into the Adelaide show in September lifting it now will allow it to recover in time i hope :fc: . As for styling it i plan on making the foliage pads on the left that hang down more like the top of the tree nice an compact :D

I have one very similar tree. Do You have a virtual? I think if You try to make an occasional part of some the branches on the left go infront of the trunk it might look nice????
