I reckon you probably would. Matter of fact I think I might have even seen you there a time or three.

Hey, nice rock. As I don't have any of it nowdays, I think I'd like it back.
Going to have to take a trailer on my next trip back up there I think. It's bloody good stuff. Is that bit of yours the light stuff or the heavy one?

Unfortunately the heavy stuff mate. My backpack weighed heaps. Was it from the Katherine area?

I love mulberries, there's one at work and one at my parents place but I can't seem to get any cuttings to take

will persevere though, when's the best time to take them?

Black Mulberry Matty
Old wood cuttings can be taken end of winter or any at the end of spring or summer. Why don't you try an air layer Phoenix

They will take well late spring or summer also. Good way to get the fat trunk straight away.

Yes mate. I used to get my rock from one of two areas. First was just Darwin side of Katherine, which was the heavy stuff. I also got some from another area the other side of town, which unfortunately I would no longer have access to anymore.

The second lot was a much lighter stone, also a bit more redish in coulor. As a matter of interest, have you ever cleaned that stone you have? I mean, really clean it by soaking in bleach? Once you get all the red stain/smoke/dirt off it it is a really cool colour. A mix of creams and white, but boy does it take some cleaning. That colour has taken millions of years to buld up, or so they tell me.
