Love the look and colour of #23 mate but #22... looks like a slightly overdone apple pie to me

#23 would really suit an Allocasuarina torulosa!

Hi Tony,

Thanks for posting photos of your bonsai pot. I have been wondering what you've made. Other folks should note that the glaze names are specific to our pottery centre, and won't be descriptive to anyone else out there.

Realising that Julian doesn't teach anything about masculine or feminine qualities in the design of the pottery we do, I second Paul's comments aboutthe identity crisis here. Perhaps 'chattering' on the outside would help make it more masculine.

cheers,

S.

Setting a direction is a good step Antonio. I would recommend trying the wheel thrown oval pot technique that Paul has tutored. It will open many doors to creativity.

Had a look at these in the flesh and they are nice. Maybeyou could make one for my juniper? you seem to know what it needs ;)

Keep up the good work when you get back to it next term.

Great pot Antonio and a super glaze!! 8-)
This is a celadon glaze and the crackle effect is very common in this type of glaze. If possible, get hold of the recipe and guard it jealously as it will serve you well in the years to come!!

I'm not long back from the AABC show.......what happened to all the Ausbonsai people?

It's been too long.....I didn't realise that there was a second page to your 'story'. :?

My previous comments were directed to your first pot, obviously..... I love the glaze!!!!!

Like your other two pots, Tony.

Lemme guess - Opal Blue done in the spray booth for the second one? You hoped it would come out darker perhaps?
If so, I had the same thing happen with one of mine....Have just downloaded some photos of mine. Time to post one.
