Yes Reddoggy, that is the Brian

From Clintons email today
We will endeavour to have continuous demonstrations each day with Saturday featuring an indepth discussion on air layering techniques and most importantly the development of the trees thereafter.
Featuring on Sunday will be a spectacular rock planting utilising a mature Fig and and a very interesting piece of limestone.
Both demonstrations will commence from around 10 to 10.30am.
Sorry no more hard and fast times as the days programs are fairly casual.

Cool Matty Glad you enjoyed yourself :-)

Had a great day myself, Started the Demo with cleaning out the Azalea after flowering and then repotting it. I push using Kanuma for Azaleas, so you may have some enquiries Scott :-)
then went on to do my Bougainvillea Air layer.

While I was doing mine, Vince was also doing a Demo on the other table of putting a large Fig on a rock. It seemed to work really well with the 2 of us again playing tag team and hope the Audience was liking it too :-)

The show was a great sucess and the trees this year were even better than last. I will sort my photos then post them up tonight for you all to enjoy

I popped in on Saturday morning but was too early for all the ausbonsai folk. oh well. maybe next time.

I bought some tickets and popped them in the draw for the PK pot ( I have always wanted one).

What a great display of trees by the way. Can anyone on here tell me who is the proud owner of the banksia raft. I thought it was very elegant. My reaction immediatly was Banksia, raft why didnt i think of that before. they often grow like that in the wild. I got a bit of styling advice off Ray for my tall lanky banksia integrifolia and than left as I still had a few quotes to go to.

In summary what a great display. I will have to try and create some time on Tuesday nights next year and become a student in the school of bonsai. I know I need the help.

Cheers

Squizz
