Looks great O.c, dunno about that branch hanging down below the pot thought but in saying that too each their own. I am incredibly jealous of this tree, soooo much character.

Re: Yippy this olive looks like a keeper
yeah must say happy to have this in my collection came up with this design from junipers an pines i see as semi cascade style so im thinking ill give a olive a go doing it. It will be much more compact then my other olives aiming for finished tree height of about 50cms first thing im working on are the trunks an primary branches then wil let it grow till mains trunks are nice an thick.
This tree will take some time im in no hurry with this one
has lots of character an potential will try to do the best i can over the next few yrs

Re: Yippy this olive looks like a keeper
About 4 weeks on this tree is doing great gave it a light feed 2 weeks ago an seems to like it i took the first lot of wire of this tree as it was starting to cut in will re-wire it this weekn coming. Right now all im doing is wiring out the branches while they are young its much easier to do
still havent picked a new leader its quiet busy up the top but as i like dead wood on olive im leaving the top as is to carve later maybe very happy with the progress this tress has made so far

Another member told me last year he puts big olive into 100% perlite so it's easier to move his trees. I have had two large olives is 100% perlite this season and they have probably had the strongest growth out of my olives.

Did the 1st real training on this tree today
cut back some branches an removed others then wired out some into place. left the other trunks for the option of a muti trunk design very happy with the progress so far

I wish it was mine...so lovely!
Have you thought of removing the 2 smaller trunks?
