how is it looking now?

Actually I think it died but it still has green sap what does that mean it has no growing buds but the sap is green I'm fairly new to bonsai as well as gardening so can yo reply ASAP

Desert roses aka adenium got me into bonsai and I only have 3 bonsai ginseng ficus a benjimana and a desert rose planted against a rock it looked good before the leaves fell of
I'm so sad that the leaves have falled of it is the wet season here and I'm just wondering if it will come back befause it has green sap
If it comes back then it will be ready for a pot in maybe 2014/2013

But you don't really give info that can be used to help you out.
Like I say, 1 picture = 1000 words.

If you've just cut it, then it might cause the sap flow to be disrupted and could also cause leaves to fall off.
You will get that same behavior sometimes when you do root pruning.
If the bark is still green that means it is still alive.
Keep it out of direct sunlight or any excessive heat until new buds appear.
There is not specific amount of days for this to happen, It can happen in 1 days like it could happen in 1 week or more from now.
It will depend on how strong the plant was before the intervention and how much energy it can spare to produce the new buds.


For the ready for a pot for 2014/2013 that's another story I'm afraid.
Give us some pictured feedback in June 2013 and well see how much it has recuperated and grown since.
