Just make sure the water isn't hot! Had to run the tap for ages in the heatwave to get some cooler water =/

On the hottest days I sometimes mist, I sometimes give an extra drench and some times I do nothing as life gets in the way. To me the health of the tree is the most important factor to get through the heat.
Here is a cold climate/understory Hornbeam in almost full sun next to the sun loving Pines and I think I can only find one leaf with slight margin burn. This tree is at the peak of it's health, a cutting would not fair the same, for cuttings we use lots of misting ;)

It's too bad your in such a hurry cause the stories I could tell you, Bushels and baskets of stories, hole crates full of stories. But if you can spare a moment I will tell you one story.
