HELP! Bare root wiring etc...

Share your success stories about defoliation, bare rooting and anything else relating to maintaining healthy bonsai.

wow very nice stuff ken!

Also the info u gave is very helpful... I do mix in 1/3 zeo! :cool:

I do have plants in more of a soil mixture as well but I wasn't very happy with how easy the soil shifted and such when watered and just from reading the dio/zeo mixed seemed to have many advantages I was looking for in a medium...

Soil shifted when watering?
the only time I had those sort of problems was when watering with a hose rather than a fine sprinkle. Tends to wash out the soil too much but as Diaomite is so light (another good reason to use it), it can also get washed away :palm:
I have had that happen a few times when not being careful :palm: :crybye:

Not i tend not to fill up the pots s0o much so there is always a lip around the edge.

Take it slowly and do not rush to get trees in a Bonsai pot, but learn when to work on the trees and achieve the best result. :yes:
