Collected 9 big buxus today
Great score kids. I also recently got some from said website for free- no where near as big but still large. Cut back to fit four of them into my car. Bare rooted and reported as existing soil was water repellant. Treated with season and TLC, all have started back budding already.

Re: Collected 9 big buxus today
Thought I would update these while I'm at it. These were collected back Jan this year. They started punching out buds big time so time for a trim. I started by taking a few unwanted branches out to open up the centre to sun light. I then heavily fed them then 3 weeks later reduce most of the branches. I did leave some foliage at the ends. They then went gang busters so I pruned again. They are popping buds like crazy.

Any thoughts on where to go from here are welcome. These will sit and grow for a bit now. I have a few others from this lot that haven't back budded much at all. I will power feed them and keep reducing try and force back budding. Josh
