you use a little hand held gas burner to burn the wood

there is another type of machine the same as a dremel this one cost me $20 and all the bits fit just fine

You can also get an Ozito from Bunnings for $39 with a 3 year replacement warranty..

Glad you guys have enjoyed, we did and there will be more to come! Gabrielle is in Italy at the moment so i had to go at it myself. Even though it is my tree i feel guilty for doing so. Next year might have to let him rip back into it. I said might???

As for the cheaper carvers, well if you can get that sort of warranty and keep replacing them go for it. I would find it fustrating. I also question as to wether or not you guys have attempted olives and prunus with those carvers. Especially if there is deadwood on them already. Bloody hard going for a dremel let alone less???
