Thanks for the glaze info Paul. We don't do reduction firing but I will see what I can do.
The pots above are a glaze over an oxide wash. I was thinking of doing the same but just more glaze. You guys have been so helpful I forget who gave what advice but I started using the oxide wash with a glaze over the top as it was suggested it fixed the ugly unglazed feet. The oxide wash was done after bisque firing at the same time as the glaze. Not sure if that made any difference?
It's too bad your in such a hurry cause the stories I could tell you, Bushels and baskets of stories, hole crates full of stories. But if you can spare a moment I will tell you one story.

Wow those are looking fantastic, I really like that last one. I was watching some old "world of bonsai" videos the other day and I came across the ones on Tokoname, very inspiring. Anyone who hasn't seen them...

and I've now added "bonsai pot making" to the list of things I'll have to have a crack out when I get some spare time!

Thanks Scott,
I am sure the clay workshop day with the club will go great we will have to make sure Poll is there as well because he is a wiz at the free hand stuff. I blink and he has another pot made. I forget if you told me a new date for that?
