na.

but, you could use an attachment on the end that has a gearbox to alter the speed...

but if the unit came one speed, i would leave it so.

i don't recommend changing the electrical circuit because you just can't see the kick coming that it may give you.

As Arron Says No there is not

I cannot remember the electrical theory exactly ( from 25 years ago when I last worked with it), but with AC motors you cannot successfully control the speed by reducing the voltage. That will work with DC motors though. If you reduce the voltage only on an AC motor, you will cause an increase in Current and thus heat. This will burn out the windings in the motor.
AC Speed controls work by chopping up the AC waveform and reducing the POWER available, this will reduce the speed and torque of the motor.
