Lots of really nice trees there in a clean setting Matthew. A couple of them look precariously balanced on that black metal stand?

I have always been so Jealous of you lot down south and the colour you can get this time of year. As I get so little colour in my trees here, i have been looking around to see what options I have. Last year I got some cuttings of Virginia creeper, and today one of them is looking quite a nice reddish / orange :-) :D

Autumn colour development has been quite slow this year but a few more have put on a bit of a display.

So far no real colour in the Japanese maples but we had our first frost last night so should be more soon.

Nice colour on the tridents at least shibui! The tridents I bought from you last October, as well as the rest of my bonsai are still completely green :lost: hopefully over the next few weeks there will be a little more colour!

Plenty of tridents till green here too Kyushu - the one behind the zelkova just starting to turn and younger seedlings still bright green with fresh growth on the tips.

After some good advice from Shibui my Maples grew well this season and for the first time they are showing some colour:
