Here is how it was looking yesterday:
Apparently Viburnum back shoot reasonably well and can handle repotting after flowering. It was starting to show signs of leaf burst already so last night I repotted into a Mudlark pot. I'm confident that it will be okay in this smaller pot as I water regularly and I'm only after fine growth (ramification). I also rotated the front about 15°, removed the old apex, cut off some unwanted branches and shortened everything else back. I'll now wait to see what Spring brings and hopefully get shoots in the right places

Once it has settled into the pot I'll carve out the deadwood and treat it with Earls.
What do you think? Would you have done anything different?

Steven
