II personally believe a neatly and properly wired tree is definitely acceptable :)

Thanks

Hey Dave, not as neatly wired as you and different coloured wire. Just couldn't get the right 2.0mm last time i needed it.
I've got new pots for them as well as Bill advised.

Thats it Graeme :tu:
Maple, they are a couple of beautiful examples. I see your Bonsai age is 12 but that second trunk is a lot older. Where did you manage to get wonderful stock like that? A great development job on the branching. Did i say a great tree.

Hey Maple,
These are a MUST for the Exhibition. I can't even see any wire at all and looks much better wiring than mine.

See them all at the show, including that little mini elm in the background. :) I look forward to photographing them for you against our backdrops at the show as they will come up even more awesome.

Thanks

Bodhi,
Time flies when your having fun. I think I started in the early nineties.
The Triple Palmatum was grown by Nel Saffon, an early pioneer of Bonsai in Melbourne. I have a photo of it in early development, probably 5-10 years old, dated 1991. I bought it in 2001.
It had very strong upper branches and weaker lower as palmatums will do if not controlled. The last 10~ years have been spent trying to correct it.
The Trident was imported in 2000.
Thanks for looking.

Thanks for showing, I really do hope you bring them along to the exhibition.
Q: Why are we all here?
A: Because we are not all there.

Hi Maple,
We agree with David, you've to show the little elm as well - its branching is very good too! :tu:
Bodhi didn't get your bonsai age right, maybe 'cause you still look very young, ;) but it’s over 20 years.
Unfortunately Marlene and I won't make it to the show - as you know, but there's always next year.
Cheers,
Rudi
