Possum attack

you have been unlucky .
we have possums , but we have a food tray out for them with fruit. our backyard is more like a nursery than a house garden. they don't touch anything, much to my amazement.
they seem to tippy toe between the plants , maybe they like us.

Sorry to hear of your troubles. I had possums for the first time in over 12 years last year and I did find that possoff worked, but needed regular re-spraying. It also keeps the cats away!
The solution I came up with was re-location. I trapped them and took them to a new place to enjoy their lives. I have heard a few times that possums are territorial and fight any new comers but from my observations this is a myth. If you re-locate them to their natutal habitat (the bush) everyone will be happy.

This is true but unfortunately it's illegal to take a possum out of its natural habitat. Certain death by other territorial possums or something.

Thanks so much for some brilliant advice.. I really appreciate it. I have moved the trees to a more open location away from trees and branches and they didn't get attacked last night. I'm gonna hope for the best.

Hi Webos , mate you little ones should be ready for a little K9 by now . That will keep the possums up the tree's not down o the ground .Sad to here about this , a mother nature fauna re-style wasn't needed .

Tragic to see Webos but there looks to be enough green there to give the sap a reason to keep flowing. You never know, it could help with the rugged, dead wood look you are going for.

I got one of these to keep an Egret away from the sushi in my pond. Seems to be working great! I got mine from Power Innovations in Lismore NSW. $79 plus $12 shipping which is cheaper that the eBay seller.
