Well this didn't work
!! nw all I have is 2 bar branches and a V cut in the top. Im thinking of layering off the branches, anyone else got any ideas???

Hi Raymond,
Try tilting the tree 45 degrees to the side to give it a new leader and a new first branch. Reduce the stump, let the leader grow and start refining the first branch. That way you get some movement and taper in the trunk as the new leader grows, and you've lost the bar branching.
