The main tree in this forrest had its second lot of wire today

most of the primary branches are in place some over 30cm an 5mm thick. Its difficult to wire as have to be carefull of the trees close to it as they are budding well an dont want to knock of shoots

. Going to take some time to fully wire this forrest next winter

thinking of taking it to my club so every one can work on it

below are picturs of the branches on the main tree

the spacing seems too even--(easier said than done)if you could adjust one or two trees left or right a couple of cms and create two groups and a couple of singles within the setting---I think you need some really tight areas and some loose as well.
perhaps once its settled in.(suggestions only)

It'd be nice to get a flying Delorian and check out what this looks like in 10 or 15 years.

Have all ways been thinking how i could finnish this tree of once its trained an came across a slab that was made for a large Forrest it dosent look to hard really main thing would be to make sure the frame work would hold the weight. Below is the link an latest picture of my elm forrest

Making your next pot looks like a major operation.
Good growth going there too.
Cheers

Been wiring this tree weekly

an yesterday i unwired it takes a few hrs almost

but starting to get branches going well. Ive done a ruff count an it will have some where around 70 foliage pads an 15 tops. Ive got about 45 branches in place so it goes thro the wire

ill finnish this week wiring tomorrow after work
Top of the main tree grows like crazy i trimmed it down last week as its been very windy an didnt want to take the chance it would get broken

Hey O.c,
Thought I'd post a pic of the elm stump you sent me, I assume its from the same grounds as your forest. Its booming with new growth and has become a high priority tree on my bench of mediocre material, I'd love to work on it this season but I alas I will give it a years rest in a pot before attempting any sort of styling or pruning. Thanks and again, and excuse the pot and planting angle as it was the only thing I had on hand to put it in.
Thanks again.
