Only a couple grow pots blown off benches but no damage here. Nearly lost the rabbit hutch at 2am though. Surprisly for how bad it sounded nothing moved. I was surprised to find a foam box still sitting where I left it.
I remember when we were travelling OZ in our camper trailer we'd lie awake on nights like last night thinking everything was blowing away only to get up the next morning to find nothing moved. One day people next to us lost their annexe and yet our girls body boards that they left lying outside didn't move.
Time to reshape some trees maybe Gerard??

sorry you had such bad luck Gerald.
I walked around the garden couldn't see any problems , then found an empty spot on one of the bonsai benches.

it was my wisteria ,grrrrr horror, shock, where is it ? did my pot break?
fortunately it fell onto a bed of training plants in a garden bed . too bad for them but my wisteria is okay.
looks like it just had a bad hair day.

My problems are not so bad, all the repotting is done a couple of pots lost no significant tree damage at all. The most expensive thing will be getting the roof fixed, I hope it does not rain much tonight it gets fixed tomorrow.

At least it wasn't you who got electrocuted then. Someone died trying to fix their roof after the storm.

Glad to see I wasn't the only one up chasing trees around the back yard.
I was out picking up trees tipped over and placing around the side .
Watching my big elm lift out of the pot then back down in the pot was enough I
Moved everything around the side of house while rubbish bins flew past my head !!
Some are a bit weary some leaves are starting to dry up on my elm like as if roots were disturbed
I'm hoping it will bounce back .
I lost a maple ripped out of the pot last wind storm like Craig said
Lesson 1 tie all trees in pots.
I'm hoping tonight it's more calmer .... Don't think the trees could handle another go tonight ...,may even move a few into the garage to be sure .

Hmmm, I had a few uprooted trees.
My fault

, I did not tie down or weigh down so they simply toppled over with the high winds pushing all that nice new foliage around.
Power has just been switched back on. So much for "smart metres"

.

And here it comes again. Thunder, lightning, wind, rain and hail. Makes for a fun night. Hope everything is tied down.
Josh.

Geez I got nothing of the sort here. Out in wyndham vale. I was running around like mad moving all my succulents in case of large hail which is what was predicted. My trees are under shade house so I didnt worry about them too much but we got 3 seconds of rain and thats all.

Too right, I got a splash of rain and that took no time to dry up.
Here's looking forward to Saturday. Till then the hose will have to work overtime!
