and I love that waterswept calli
I have to agree Jason. That's the one I voted for but i might just be a little bit biased ;)

Interesting to note the last juniper - the front branch on the larger, right branch was looking a little sad. Closer inspection revealed there is a live vein of bark down the front of the tree but not connected to either the roots or the branch  Not sure whether this was a slip of the carving tools or just a basic lack of understanding of plant physiology?

Some great trees as usual and specially great to see a focus on Aussie natives this year. Maybe Melbourne might be able to host a National Australian Plants as Bonsai show in future to give Canberra members a well earned break, give more growers the chance to participate and make it more of a 'National' show :?:

Lots of great trees, thanks for sharing. Like others, I particularly liked the nicholi, especially because I just got some to work on. Small ones, so long term projects, but nice to know they have a bright future. :tu:

The waterswept calli is still one of my favorites too.
Cheers, Karl

This tree keeps me coming back for another look! It was not given any favours where it was positioned it had the cafe as a background. It turns out that I had lots of coffee over the weekend.
Q: Why are we all here?
A: Because we are not all there.
