My son had a wonderful time. Thank you to all the guys at the Central Coast Exhibition, especially Scott, who helped my son with his Chinese Elm bonsai and showing him how to start it off. He was so excited to go and try his hand at one again. We went to the 2013 show, and he got a Port Jackson Fig that year, and was keen to do it again. He was looking forward to this for quite a few weeks, and was quite chuffed with his new little bonsai. He now has about 6, after getting a few more additions from Ray Nesci over the last year. We got a few nice pots from Ray, Penny, and Denise. Thank you to all of you for putting on a splendid show. We hope to join your club soon, but at the moment, I have 2 jobs, and 2 kids, so I just don't have the time to attend, but hopefully in a few years we will join.

We came on the Sunday, and it was good to see a lot of young kids at the table trying their hands at bonsai.

In all the viewing and gawking, we forgot to vote for a bonsai. We would have voted for the privet. It was my personal favourite.

No problem. I am glad he enjoyed it.

Thanks for the wonderful comments. It was a great show and was quite successful for the Central Coast Bonsai Society :tu2:

Very Sad I missed the show. I had to spend my entire day at a soccer gala day for the kids! Thanks for posting the photos. Great to see the kids getting involved.

Cheers
