Re: How about a Hawthoff Antonio
Good work Dave,
I'm getting inspired boys...gotta get out and dig! I very much plan on being part of the Hawthoff. I think it should be a yearly challenge. I dug 4 Pinus Radiata today....on the fourth one, shoveled around the tree, wiggled the shovel and CRACK!! My shovel snapped. Ended up finishing the job by scooping the soil out from under the tree by hand then sawing thru the taproot with a mini pruning saw.

Great work Dave. It is great to see these trees a few years down the track from where we are at.
Who said Australia didn't have great material. At this rate the Shoin fad will either be boosted or blown away.

It's too bad your in such a hurry cause the stories I could tell you, Bushels and baskets of stories, hole crates full of stories. But if you can spare a moment I will tell you one story.

Re: How about a Hawthoff Antonio
Love to see them.
I have a few more to get that are actually bigger then this guy, but the owners are waiting till the trees they planted in front have grown on a bit so they get a bit of privacy. So it may be a problem and i may have to collect them out of season!
Definately bring on the big guys, i would love to see them!
