Very good exhibition by the Yarra Valley Club, I travelled down from Bendigo just for this. Bought a nice little juniper from Mike Simonetto. Purchased quite a few raffle tickets to win the pot, but sadly :( no phone call, some lucky person will have a mile wide smile :D .
Well done folks    Miyagiman.

:gday: Again, all I can say is … it's all over for now until the next time and off course - it’ll be bigger and better again!!! ;)
Now all that's left for me to say is:
A BIG THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU, to all involved for the great effort put in and creating our most successful Show ever!!!
I’m proud of you and our“still young” club's achievement! :worship:
All the preparation and hard work paid off big time on the day ... based on comments during and after the show by the general public and the-ones-in-the-know from other Melbourne and Country Victorian Clubs!
Comments like … “your best ever show, congratulations” or “ wonderful presentation with great trees and the variety … well done!”

A big THANK YOU also to our Sellers of great quality "stuff" like - bonsai and starters, pots, stands and accessories as well as to the donors to our raffle ... and off course all our visitors who came to our show - our numbers were up by 60% on our last Show … we feel honoured! :tu:
Close to 250 adult visitors went through the doors with 20% encouraged by the Media and a whopping 33% by Word of Mouth! :hooray:

Again our Kids workshop put big smiles on little faces of proud future bonsai artisans. :D :D :D

All around a great Show with great Trees, great Weather and most of all great People !!!

For the ones who couldn’t make it - you missed out big time, but soon you’ll be able to see some photos on the YVBS Facebook site and off course here - watch this space!

Again, a big thank you for your support and kind regards,

Rudi

Well I dropped by and had a good but short lived time.

I enjoyed the wide variety of tree's in particular some of the Azalea's were spectacular.
A lot of really good and stylish tea tree's as well.

I came away with a pot and a Chojubai Flowering Quince seedling (Officially the most expensive seedling I've ever purchased!).
To be honest I was there to see the show, not to make purchases......
Just couldn't resist what I thought to be a very well priced Lorraine Simpson pot and the Chojubai I've seen online are just incredible trees.
One of the fabulous things about growing bonsai is as you get old and decrepit your trees get old and beautiful
