Recovering Prunus - repot or not?

Ah aerogaurd-the magic weed killer. I don't know how, or why, but it's magic. Spray it on and the weeds will be dead in a matter of hours, and unlike roundup it doesn't matter if you get it on the plant. I have a ROR fig that gets weeds in and amongst the roots, spray with aerogaurd, and dead as a door nail by the end of the day.
Just for the record it doesn't have to be brand specific aerogaurd.
I'll also add that it's been used by orchid growers for years

Hi peoples,
I would suggest spending an hour or two reading up on glyphosate (the active ingredient in roundup) before using it.

I am with Angus on this one, been using it on my show bench orchids for years now, kills the weeds within hours, cheap and convenient and safer than roundup. Put roundup near sensitive orchids and you are in big trouble,so it should be safe for little tree's, as Angus says you don't have to use the brand name,I get mine from aldi. :2c: :imo:

Well there you go! Is there any particular active ingredient I should be looking for in the generic 'aeroguard's, I'm assuming the generics aren't branded aeroguard?

I'm not aware of any specific active ingredient, and both the pump spray and aerosol work as effectively as each other. I just grab whatever is on special or best price and fits in my toolbox.

as for styling --when it regains health I would consider removing the trunks above(between) second left and first right branches-try to strike the cuttings - then wire some movement into first left

This is my styling 'inspiration' image for this little guy.

Similar movement but not quite - I love the branching though.

If you need to ask, you need to read up. For starters, even a hint of overspray will completely bugger your roses.

after a second look could you post a photo from a different angle--can't really see what's happening at half way
