Koji's pine ... 'before'. We will see 'after' very soon. He certainly knows the business of pines and styling them very well. How lucky are we to have him with us in May!!! We are in for quite a full weekend in RRRRRRRR-Adelaide! :aussie:

Just in case there is any confusion, the tree pictured :lost: on the previous post is one Koji has posted on his fB page ... he won't be bringing it with him.

Stay posted for the development of this tree ... it's purpose is to demonstrate his abilities.

That said, if anyone has a tree like this they would like to work on with him in the workshops on Monday 18 May - there are still vacancies available. :aussie:

High end Yixing Chinese bonsai pots ... I was lucky enough to have a look through the new arrival that Greg and 'Bonsai Ceramics' has, just the other night.

I'm also thrilled that he will be joining us with other traders at this year's convention in May.

We really have quite a diverse range of traders lined up so be sure to save your $s for this annual bonsai and shopping adventure.

I know we are in for a huge time with little trees come May! Looking forward to this weekend so much!!!

Koji's looking forward to being with us in May ... I know that the entire programme will be a hit, but I'm particularly liking forward to his Friday programme - Setting Up the Exhibition and the finer points of display using The SA Bonsai Society's newly constructed tokonoma.

Less than two months to go until the weekend of 15 - 18 May .. when all eyes in Australian bonsai should be focused in Adelade.

A sensational line-up with Koji Hiramatsu ad Tony Bebb & Joe Morgan-Payler flying the Aussie team flag. :aussie:

The local line-up of Matt Sharp, Luke Parsons ad Chris Drinkwater is starting to polish up nicey also.

Don't be disappointed ... check out the program at

http://www.bosaisa.org.au

or

http://www.aabcltd.org

... and get your registrations in sooner, rather than later! :tu:

I have been preparing the lanyard programme information to print and it's now 7 weeks until Adelaide 2015!!! :aussie: :aussie: :aussie:

There's a heap going on in the lead up to our convention and I know there are a number of people who are yet to register. You can register by EFT into the 2015 AABC Convention bank account and emailing your registration form.

Who would have thought? Now less than 50 days!

For those who have been thinking about Monday 18 May - doing a workshop or observing; there are still places available for participants in all workshops! It's certainly a way of taking full advantage of the opportunities.

Observers are able to move in and out of all workshops and there is a small discount for registering for the full day on Monday.

Bonsai Sensation will be selling in the trade area, so I'm confident that you'll have access to excellent material if you are not bringing your own with you.

On Friday 15 May, Koji is stepping registrants in the setting up an exhibition programme on three point display, exhibition flow, rules for tokonama ... while setting up the convention exhibition. It's a great opportunity to take back beneficial information to your club that can be used in your own club shows. This activity includes lunch as part of your registration for this activity! ... and I'll have information on cost effective marketing strategies that :imo: should ensure your club shows have the public beating at your doors!

After the dramatic transformation in the Koji workshop they will not be convinced that it is the same tree
