Nice work on the Shari, Fiona. Once you're happy that the tree is OK I'd like to see some sharp bends in the remaining branch to continue the drama.

I would like to see more drastic bends in the trunk, after the shari dries out this will not be an option. The risk is that with the shari already created the bark will separate from the trunk more easily. If you decide to make a few more bends or just exaggerate the existing ones a wrap of raffia might be sensible.

Don't worry if you removed other foliage that was on the juniper before, it will back bud eventually overtime and you can restyle towards your drawings.
