Great options, Option 1 certainly has a lot of character doesn't it, as does the juniper semi-cascade.
Cheers

Re: The Inaugural NBPCA BONSAI WEEK
I took a trip to Rays today as I need a second tree to take as a backup.
I found a very nice JBP
the juniper I picked up at the 1st Ausbonsai sale day
what do you guys reckon, worthwhile to take along?
Ken

Yep, very worthwhile Ken and look forward to seeing the initial result. Good time to start a progression thread

I see a lot of potential in that pine... nice pick up. Very nice base.

Re: The Inaugural NBPCA BONSAI WEEK
Off to a great start for Bonsai Week. Everyone had an enjoyable day, including Pavel who worked on this old Tanuki style Juniper.

Re: The Inaugural NBPCA BONSAI WEEK
I have been following on Facebook and have been impressed with the quality of material he has been working.
Are there plans for him to work less predictable stock where he can show off the heavy bending etc he is famous for?
