Great options, Option 1 certainly has a lot of character doesn't it, as does the juniper semi-cascade.

Jbp 2 . Ord photo movement really nice as is the bark . Largish tree at 79cm. Which one of the 2. Proberly hard to tell as alot of growth i let them run abit this year

I took a trip to Rays today as I need a second tree to take as a backup.
I found a very nice JBP
the juniper I picked up at the 1st Ausbonsai sale day
what do you guys reckon, worthwhile to take along?

Neil the first black you posted has some interest, mugo is difficult to see but the overall silhouette looks good.

Off to a great start for Bonsai Week. Everyone had an enjoyable day, including Pavel who worked on this old Tanuki style Juniper.

I have been following on Facebook and have been impressed with the quality of material he has been working.
Are there plans for him to work less predictable stock where he can show off the heavy bending etc he is famous for?
