Thanks Ken
The trees I thought were absolutely outstanding were the Shohins and the very small black pines. Well done to the club for the display and the Nesci family for their support.

Great pics Ken. I was there yesterday, really enjoyed it again. Great display of trees!! I particularly enjoyed the demo/talk about the "invisible grafting hopefully " by , was it Ray? Very interesting and I have some trees that are going to be undertaking this ground layering technique.
I cant go back again today, live south syd, but am interested in the books he showed yesterday. Any info on purchasing these??
Thanks again to all involved.
Well done.
Cheers Ben

Got there first thing this morning
Beautiful sunny weather
Greeted by happy fellow bonsai enthusiasts
But most of all a great showcase of quality bonsai
Both my father and I really enjoyed the display and made a purchase or 2 from the sales tables
Great exhibition school of bonsai

The SoB show is getting better and better each year. Ray, Clinton and the Nesci family host the event each year and put in a big effort beforehand setting up and after packing up

.
The quality of the tree's on display keep getting better too which is testament to the hard work of the owners and credit to the School of Bonsai teachers. This year the attention to detail was evident with matching stands, accent plants and tree's in top presentation. Well done to all involved!
Photo's taken by KCPoole have been uploaded to the new SoB site and can be viewed here:
