Looking good, bud is perfect... 
It was attacked by elm leaf beetle this spring but they are gone now.....

Awesome Mike. Had no elm leaf beetle this year in my area all English elms my golden zelcova garden trees and my large English elm bonsai untouched so far . last year was a big problem

Its a lovely tree regardless of your thoughts Mike. As usual, you are a wealth of knowledge and critique (in a good way).
That is definitely the beauty of deciduous trees, having such vastly different views from winter / summer. Lovely.

update
I have pulled the apex slightly to the left and the smaller trunk up a bit. I want the apex to basically grow vertically from now on. Wired most of the branches. The little bud has survived and is growing hopefully to help fill the red circled area.
The drawn twigs and outline are my hopes for the next 10 years.
Bonsai is so slow....

Update...it's all about the ramification from now on. I'm pretty happy with the overall form of the tree....for now.
Note; the tree is slightly wider than it appears in the pic. For some reason my camera tends to squash the image from the sides. Anyone know how to fix that?

What kind of camera is it? Smart phone cameras aren’t the best at not producing distortion. The back camera isn’t as bad but is still a problem sometimes, but the front selfie camera is pure evil and why I can’t get a nice selfie of myself, even with duckface.

Every time you take a pic you shift its position slightly, I think. You really need to use a 50mm lens and stand back a bit, with the camera at the level of the base of the tree. If you've got the tic tac toe guide built in somewhere that will also help you keep it completely level... They really are evil, both phones and cameras.
