Was just a random plant for sale on Gumtree. The guy said it was called a 'little Singapore girl' or something like that and about 20 years old grown from a cutting, cant find much info but i think its a dwarved variety, and he claims its never had thorns. (found some info on this variety on google one night but have never found it again so may have been dreaming  ). there is a small airlayer up the top of the foliage ball on the right hand trunk, as the branch there only puts out especially tiny leaves so am trying to isolate them and get some practice before i try anything bigger.

plan for the left trunk was originally going to be a literati type deal but i have got new shoots growing in perfect spots to create an informal upright utilizing the big S bend. The white patch you can see on this trunk is where i have had to make a very dramatic cut removing 2 thick branches from the same spot, and sealed with melted tea wax,

Not much action down low on the right trunk but some nice shapes further up (maybe 6 possible future trees), so once i have separated the 2 trunks, i will likely keep air layering until there is nothing left..
