I found an old gas strut bar stool at the tip. I used some mesh for the top, works a treat...

I too like Raymond used an old gas strut bar stool base that someone was throwing out. I then just attached an old chopping block for the base. Total cost $0.

Currently in the process of thinning extensively and wiring.

Fingers crossed I will find the time in the next couple weeks to finish it, I've been trying since the start of March haha.

Council cleanup in our area so went and scavenged a chair base tonight. Tis a pity none of my neighbour's want to leave out a decent piece of timber for a top though!
