At the moment I am using Brunnings Citrus feed on all my trees including sensitive natives and they are all thumping. I dose every 3-4wks & have no issue with salt build up so far. I feed from bud break till mid december and resume around mid february until the trees tell me to stop.

This depends on what stage your Wisteria is at and what you want from it. If your growing it on then feed with anything you want & throw as much as you like at it.... dont expect huge thickening unless your going to put it in the ground & just let it grow untouched for a few years. If it is a mature tree, dont feed it or it will encourage growth shoots instead of flowering shoots.

I use Liquid Dynamic Lifter, I believe it is hard to come by these days. An equivalent would be to take a hand full or two of the pellets, throw them in a 9L watering can and mix it. Wait an hour, mix again then pour. I would also throw the granules around too.

The liquid is a quick energy hit like a hot soup on a winters day. Good for a bit but hardly a full meal.

The granules are like a "steak/chips 'n' three veg with gravy". They make sure your plants are always full.

It is also hard to over-dose with Dynamic lifter except on specific varieties.


I'd eat it for breakfast if I could.

Here's a lil' tip if you work for Buzzings. Always run to help when some lil' old lady needs DL car assistance. The smell on you afterwards albeit un-pleasant, effectively wards off customers for hours on end. I once completed a 9 hour shift, without a customer lingering within 7 feet of me for more than a few seconds. Works every time!

hi mitchell
i have been useing that method for a few years adding dry dynamic lifter into water but what i do is put in a 2 litre bottle and soak it for about 4 hours
then i pour liquid out and replace the water and i use the second weaker mix on the smaller more delicate flowering plants and yes they all seem to love
that way of fert i use it on my oak's,figs,maples,and juni's for test runs and none have died so it is a permanant way for me now

That seems very weak, I'd look into increasing your use of ferts.

it depends on how much dry you add to how much water i use 4 cups of dry to 2 litres water so it is
strong and then you use the mushy after you only soak it 2 times
