You never know what tomorrow brings. This is exactly what i would do. These trees will out last us, and if we dare to see them flower who cares.

They will keep growing even if they are delayed, let someone else do the worrying. Thanks for sharing, its made my day. Petra!
A wonderful outlook. Thank you Petra.
Sorry... Practising my cut and paste Its a bit tricky

Since posting this I did not like the direction the tree was heading into and decided to change it completely. I wanted a way to display the fruit more effectively. A cascade came into mind and i decided to start again. The tree is now starting to show me that my decision was correct. i now have it in a new pot and it is beginning its flowering. Last year i let it fruit so i would get a basic idea of its future look. I am still playing with viewing fronts but i am sure it will show me eventually. Enjoy the flowers and later on..fruit.

I like the deep pink colour of the flowers - a bit jealous actually. I must get myself one that colour.
PS - I prefer your optional front, and good progression.

What great colours in the flowers!
I prefer your alternate front. It shows the trunk lines and shape better IMHO

Thanks Gentlemen, it is one of those tricky things, you know, in the wood the first picture looks better and on piccy the second looks better.

Maybe we have to start designing trees with TWO fronts

Hi Bodhi,
Very nice mate. I like the second front. I think the twist in the trunk looks good.

I assume this has been defoliated Bodhi?
I find it interesting how developed your fruit is!
Only a couple of mine CA flowers look to be maturing into fruit and they are but specs in comparison!
Great tree as always.
Don't think I've seen this one before!

It has been defoliated Boics although i dont think it helps with leaf size in this species. i strictly want back budding for more branching. Maybe regards the fruit, you dont feed enough?

A little progression of this tree coming into flower. I hope it brightens up your day. It has come a long way in a short time.
